2 FULL MOONS, VENUS + JUPITER MERGE
Technically occurring June 30, Jupiter and Venus will appear to merge, creating a brilliant spectacle of light and color just after sunset. The two planets are the sky’s second and third brightest lights after the moon and have been moving closer to each other all month long. They will remain incredibly close (the closest they will appear until August 2016) in the days to follow. July 1 marks the first Full Moon of the month and will add to brilliance of the night sky.
This Full Moon, also known as the Thunder Moon for the frequency of thunderstorms during this month, will rise in Capricorn. Full moons are a time of revelation and this one is no different. We have been diving deep into our own emotions and self-exploration in the last few months and now is the time to reveal what that means to you. If you have been taking your time with change and slowly searching for the answers inside, this Full Moon will have you feeling like the time is NOW. You won’t be jumping into anything willy-nilly, the steady nature of Capricorn has you thinking about your actions before you take them. You have the confidence now to make decisions and rely on yourself.
We love this forecast from Astrologer Molly Hall via MysticMama.com:
Full Moons are a great time to cleanse and charge your crystals. To further boost your self-confidence during this energetic time, focus on the power of Carnelian. It helps motivate and give courage when taking action and clarifying goals. Meditating with Carnelian also helps support your Sacral Chakra (located just below your navel), balancing your emotional connection with the world and relationships with others. Affirm this confident energy by repeating to yourself “I believe in myself and boldly go after what I want in life”.
We can’t wait to see what this means for you and would love to hear how you’re feeling about this Full Moon.
The second Full Moon, the Blue Moon, will take place July 31.. more on that in a few weeks!
